A year ago today, I posted my first blog entry. Ok admit it, when I first started this project, you all thought it would fizzle out within a month. Then after 50 posts, you thought I'd have nothing left. When I switched to twice a week in March, I had to be done. But I have kept going. Its been both therapeutic and enjoyable. I know I get goofy sometimes, I know I get serious sometimes, but that is the essence of me. This started as a somewhat of a tribute to my father and has spiraled into something bigger and better for me. There weren't many readers when this started and that was by design. Now, many randoms have contacted me telling me they love my blog. I'm all good with it at this point. I appreciate all of the kind thoughts and words from the readers. I've said this so many times, but my friends and family are such an amazing support system to me. Most importantly, I have to thank my beautiful and loving wife Leah for putting up with me!
So speaking of Leah, her 20 week appointment is Friday, and that is the day we find out the sex of the baby. So instead of my usual Thursday blog, I will post Friday with the big news. With the one year anniversary of the blog's start, I am posting my favorite entries below for those who may not have seen them. Read if you want to and enjoy. I'll be back Friday with the news. p.s. I hope you enjoy the new format....
